Upcoming HTA Sponsored Informational Sessions:

NYSUT Benefits Meeting - Monday, January 9th, 2017 at 4pm at the CC in Room 208 

*A NYSUT Benefits representative will explain many of the benefits that are available to NYSUT members such as: discounts on car rentals, travel and online shopping. Some other available benefits are insurance programs, estate planning, legal and financial services. 

NYSTRS Benefit Meeting - Monday, January 23rd, 2017 at the CC in Room 208 at 4pm

* The HTA is proud to announce that Tim Southerton, one of three teacher members on the 10-member NYSTRS Retirement Board, will be making this presentation at Herricks. Tim is known throughout Long Island for his informative and dynamic "Things You Should Know about NYSTRS" presentation. He is a sought out speaker and makes yearly presentations at many neighboring districts. The information presented will help familiarize teachers with the many unknown "bits" of valuable knowledge and benefits available throughout their career.
