HTA Sponsored "Things You Should Know about NYSTRS (New York State Retirement System)" Benefit Meeting Rescheduled for:
Monday, April 3rd at the CC in Room 208 at 4pm
This informative presentation will help familiarize teachers and teaching assistants with the many unknown "bits" of valuable knowledge and benefits available throughout their career. Many members found last year's session worthwhile and extremely enlightening.
This meeting is open to all members who are covered under the teachers' retirement system. Walk-ins are welcomed.
- NYSTRS has announced the TRS employer contribution rate for the 2017-18 school year will drop to 9.80% from the current year's 11.72%. This will be the lowest employer contribution rate since 2010-11!
