- Saturday, Feb. 10th (2pm - 6pm): Gathering to support Herricks Graduate, Vivek Viswanathan, candidate for California State Treasurer (see link below)
- Saturday, Feb. 10th: Annual Herricks Lunar New Year Celebration (7:00pm - 9:30pm) at Herricks High School. Free Admission! Open to all! Open Table Tennis Tournament 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM (Walk-in Registration) Lion Dance, Chinese Yo-Yo, Orchestra, Sing Along, Ribbon Dance, Chinese Food, Arts & Crafts, and Fun Games. Hosted by Asian American Cultural Club. Sponsored by CAANH - Chinese American Association of North Hempstead.
- Thursday, March 1st Annual PTA Scholarship Dinner - The New Hyde Park Inn (6:30pm) - Proceeds benefit Alzheimer 's Day Program, Senior Citizen Programs, Herricks Youth Council,Herricks Teachers' Mini-Grants,Herricks School District,Herricks Scholarship Fund Scholarships and Herricks Community Players. Sign-up sheets are available in each building. Link to flyer is available on the district website. Members will be reimbursed half the cost of attending this function. Please submit your cancelled check/proof of payment and a reimbursement forn (available on HTA website under RESOURCES tab at top of page) to Karen DeLeon at the HTA website.
- Saturday,, March 3rd PTA Scholarship Fundraiser - Harlem Wizards vs. Herricks Highlanders SLAMTASTIC Event.(H.S.Doors open @11:30 and game starts @1pm). Tickets forms this family fun-filled event are available at each building or online at www.harlemwizards.com Members will be reimbursed the cost of a general admission ticket. Please submit your cancelled check/proof of payment and a reimbursement form (available on HTA website under RESOURCES tab at top of page - herricksta.org ) to Karen DeLeon at the HTA website.
